#AnkartaKingdom is a chatroom for talking, being social, and occasionally having contests and other fun things of that sort.

FAQ #287: What rules apply to the Chat Network?

These rules are to be followed, bar none, as they are implemented by deviantART as a whole, not just by #AnkartaKingdom. In addition, there are a few rules below that apply specifically to AnkartaKingdom's chatroom. They are subject to change at the owner's discretion, and this journal will be updated if/when changes are implemented.

The room is meant to have a friendly atmosphere, so don't be a jerk. :B

No spamming. Spamming is going to lead to a ban.

This is not #Thumbsshare. Don't advertise your art in the chat. If you're looking to promote your artwork, go to the ThumbShare Forums.
In the case of a critique night, this rule is semi-lifted; however, if it is not your turn to get critique, don't post a thumb.

If an issue ever happens within the chatroom, please note the group account with some form of chat log explaining/detailing the issue(s) at hand.


Chatroom Priv Classes

Monkey-King: `GaioumonBatou, owner and overseer of the Ankarta Kingdom. If something happens that you've got an issue with, contact him first.

Monkey-Bot: ~Barurugo, Ankarta Kingdom's home bot. He'll be lurking and logging the chat, should an issue ever come about.

Royal-Family: This is as good as it gets. These people are the ones that have a large impact on the community of the room, and are left in charge should the monkey boy be out.

High-Court: People the monkey trusts to keep the room in line. If the Royal Family members are absent, these are the people who will moderate the room.

CR: For the members of the Community Relations team here on dA.

MN: For the members of the MN@ team here on dA.

Ambassadors: The room regulars go here. What's so special about this privclass? Well, it's for the people who are around more often than the commoners. Monkey boy is friendly enough to promote presence.

Commoners: This is where everybody starts off. The word "commoner" isn't meant offensively though!

JailCell: Go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Simply put, if you mess up, you'll be put here. You'll still be able to join the chatroom, but you won't be able to send messages. Serve your time and you'll be let out. If you end up in here repeatedly, then you'll be labeled a Tourist.

Tourists: The Ankarta Kingdom does not allow tourism. If you get put in this privclass, you're gone for good.


Contests
From time to time, `GaioumonBatou (and possibly others) may throw contests. These contests will often be spontaneous and will most likely be for fun and journal features. Occasionally (read also: financial situation permitting), there might be some premium memberships or shop items given away. Contests involving monetary prizes will be announced in advance. Do not ask for a contest to be thrown. You will be kicked from the room.

In the chatroom topic, there's a "Question of the Week" section. Every week that question will change. Note your answer(s) to the group, and see what happens from there!
